How change subtitles size, font, color

Postby winnydows on Sun Dec 30, 2007 5:16 pm

Open your file in XviD4PSP.
In system tray icons you will see ffdshow video decoder icon.
Right click on icon.
"Subtitles", "Subtitles sources" and "ffdshow Video Decoder - Subtitles" must help in all complicated cases. You will even can change font color, font and size.
After each change of ffdshow setting you must update video preview - XviD4PSP - Video - Update preview.
Also remove auto loaded with XviD4PSP external subs with - XviD4PSP - Subtitles - Remove.

With this solution you can use all ffdshow editing functions in XviD4PSP.

That's very helpful and all, but can you tell me how you add the subtitles? I bought these DVDs that come with Japanese and English audio. When converting the DVD rips, I'm unable to add subtitles for the Japanese audio. I'm also unable to save the subtitles from the DVDs using Media Player Classic, so I'm stumped.

Hi! I´m new here, so forgive me if I ask something too stupid.
I´m using XviD4PSP 5.036. I want to change the font setting for the subtitles I´m adding. I do have an .mkv file and a .srt subtitle.
When I load the mkv and add the .srt I don´t see the ffdshow icon on the taskbar. Did something changed in the system since that last hint? What can I do to change subtitle font color and size?

Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add that I don´t have ffdshow installed. I´m using KMPlayer with CoreAVC codec.

Forget about it. I removed all codecs and then installed K-lite and ffdshow. It works fine now.

Thanks.
